Ludacris drops his own uncut video for “Shake N Fries” off his mixtape “1.21 Gigawatts: Back For The First Time.” After the Tyga “Make It Nasty” video went viral 2 weeks ago, I think Mixtapes.tv is quickly becoming the spot for uncut Hip Hop videos. Take it back to the BET Uncut days.

You already know this is not safe for work.

Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez + More to Perform on MTV’s New Year’s Eve Special

Happy New Year indeed! MTV announced its ‘NYE in NYC 2012′ lineup, featuring Demi Lovato, her BFF Selena Gomez and a slew of other artists.

Not content to just perform, Lovato will also host the event with ‘Teen Wolf’ star Tyler Posey, with Vanessa Marano and Katie Leclere of ‘Switched at Birth’ also on hand to celebrate. In addition to Lovato, J. Cole, Jason Derulo, Mac Miller and Gomez will also serenade revelers.

The special is also semi-interactive. Starting Weds., Dec. 15 until Thurs., Dec. 29, you can vote for your favorite songs of 2011 to be used in a surprise performance on the show. The MTV special airs live at 11PM EST on MTV on Dec. 31 — but you can also bid on a pair of tickets to see it live in the flesh. Proceeds from the auction benefit the FWD campaign’s efforts in East Africa.

Selena Gomez is probably happy to spend New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple — she’ll be close to boyfriend Justin Bieber, who’s performing in Times Square for Dick Clark’s competing ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve‘ special with Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull and more.

With all this great TV, music fans may want to keep the party in their living room instead of going out!

50 Cent Reps His Hood and New Artist In ‘Queens, NY’ Video

Rapper 50 Cent offers his first visual from his new mixtape ‘The Big 10′ and introduces us to his latest G-Unit signee, a female rapper named Paris, with his new video for ‘Queens, NY.’ The rap vixen is from Fiddy’s New York neighborhood of South Jamaica, Queens and has been rolling with the G-Unit crew since 2008.

In the clip, directed by Jackson Smith, we see Paris rapping grimy lyrics surrounded by her goons in the club. “It the loca / Caramel mocha / B—hes is on their sofas / I’m takin’ ova / You’re now rockin’ with the best mama,” she raps.

50 follow suits as he gives a warning to those who don’t follow the G-code if they step into his neighborhood. “We are on that gritty city s–t / New Yawk, New Yawk / You come through on some pretty s–t / Get outlined in chalk,” he snarls.

The video is shot almost entirely in shaky-camera mode, giving it a schizophrenic vibe much like their tough neighborhood they talk about in the songs. Paris’ lyrical flow will certainly remind fans of Lil Kim‘s persona from her early days at Bad Boy (circa ‘Hardcore’ album). Overall, Paris has enough swag and bravado to make a name for herself in the rap game.

Mariah Carey + Stevie Wonder Selected for BET Honors in January

Veteran R&B/soul icons Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder are among the music dignitaries that will be saluted at the Fifth Annual BET Honors. The all-star event was created to celebrate the achievements of African-Americans in music, entertainment, literature and service.

Poet Maya Angelou, filmmaker Spike Lee, the Tuskegee Airmen and educator Beverly Kearney are also being honored at the all-star event. Hollywood starlet Gabrielle Union is the host of the BET Honors, which takes place at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 14. BET will broadcast the show at a later date.

Carey and Wonder joins a stellar list of previous honorees including Jamie Foxx, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, Diddy, Cicely Tyson, Queen Latifah and many others. In the coming weeks, announcements will be made of performers and presenters who will grace the stage to recognize this year’s distinguished list at the BET Honors.

We are excited that Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder and the other celebrities are being saluted at the BET Honors. We’re crossing our fingers and hoping that Carey and Wonder will perform an awesome duet at the event.

Justin Bieber Duets With Tinie Tempah, Covers Ne-Yo and Usher on ITV Special

Justin Bieber‘s ITV Special aired and the Biebs demonstrated why he is an unstoppable talent. He was able to sing, dance and change tempos, moods and genres seamlessly. Holiday tunes? Check. Acoustic renditions of R&B hits? Check. High octane renditions of his own smash songs? Check. The Biebs did it all and we have video to prove it.

The Biebs performed an intimate, acoustic and flawless version of ‘You Got It Bad’ by his mentor Usher. The Biebs sort of reminded us of Drake here. It was his quiet take on a song — his voice is so unique, like Drake is so inimitable. The Biebs is no flash in the pan who will be forgotten when his fans start dating. We also are liking that Bieber has abandoned his signature bangs. He also sang a rendition of Ne-Yo‘s ‘Because of You.’

Bieber also got down with British rapper Tinie Tempah, who rapped the parts of ‘Little Drummer Boy’ that Busta Rhymes laid down on the studio/album version. Tinie and the Biebs played off one another well. We liked Tinie’s red skull cap and scarf — it certainly heightened the “wintry” nature of the perf. Tinie closed out the song with the Biebs, as they had people waving their hands in the air like they just don’t care. It didn’t feel quite so Chrismtas’y at that point.

The teen sensation didn’t skip out on his own massive hits, either. He performed ‘Baby,’ and we went deaf for a hot second from the screams of the crowd. Bieber danced his a— off and even played drums at the end. Remember, we all saw Biebs-as-skinsman in his ‘Never Say Never’ film. The Biebs really can smash the skins and man the kit.
