Justin Bieber filmed his Christmas special for MuchMusic yesterday, Dec. 21, taking the stage in Canada for the taping of ‘Home for the Holidays.’ During the show, the Biebs melted fans’ hearts by bringing his little sister Jazmyn onto the stage for an adorable duet.
Justin and 4-year-old Jazmyn, who goes by Jazzy, took the stage together at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada to sing ‘Baby’ together. In the past, Bieber has said that Jazzy likes to sing along to her big brother’s songs, and seeing the 17-year-old singing with his cute little sis still has us letting out a seemingly endless “awwwww.
Justin and 4-year-old Jazmyn, who goes by Jazzy, took the stage together at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada to sing ‘Baby’ together. In the past, Bieber has said that Jazzy likes to sing along to her big brother’s songs, and seeing the 17-year-old singing with his cute little sis still has us letting out a seemingly endless “awwwww.”
Jazzy was getting a little shy during some of the duet, but luckily she had her superstar older brother watching her back. Bieber seems like a wonder with kids, as he guided Jazzy through ‘Baby’ and held her in his arms. She looked adorable in her pink sweatsuit, while Justin rocked a red checkered flannel, gray skull cap and jeans. Despite their 13 year age gap, the siblings definitely look alike, from the color of their hair to their heartwarming smiles.
After they sang ‘Baby,’ Bieber partook in some onstage banter with his sister. He asked Jazzy if she had a boyfriend yet, and also asked her about her new haircut. Bieber then told the audience, “She shaved my brother Jaxon’s head! He’s like 2 and he looks just like a big baby.” He later told Jazzy that her new short hairdo looked beautiful, rendering every female fan in the house helpless to his endearing charm. Later, the siblings sang ‘One Time’ together before Jazzy gave her big brother a hug and left the stage.
As if Justin Bieber wasn’t lovable enough, this duet with his sister just made him that much more endearing. We hope Jaxon will join his big brother for a duet in the near future! Imagine all three of them onstage together singing? Our heads might explode from cuteness overload.

Singer-songwriter Taylor Berrett gives a blast of acoustic guitar to the Drake and Rihanna collaboration ‘Take Care’ in a new cover version of the song that features Vita Chambers.
The video shows Berrett and Chambers in separate scenes as they sing the lyrics from the perspective of two lovers who are not fully connecting. Chambers, a promising singer from Barbados, channels Rihanna while Berrett croons the rap portions, tossing in falsetto and nailing all the emotional highs of the song.
Berrett tells PopCrush he enjoyed re-interpreting Drake’s hip-hop track. “This was a very fun song to do, because the Drake verses that I sing are basically rapped in the original, so I really got to create my own melodies for much of it as we recorded the song. The original record also has a very profound moodiness to it that translated well to our acoustic version.”
“Working with Vita was a blast, as we’re both kind of goofballs and love to mess with each other,” Berrett adds. “And as far as her performance on the track, it’s just perfect. I had never heard her sing down in her lower register and it’s just so haunting and beautiful.”
“I’m a big fan of the original song – it’s so dark and emotional,” Chambers tells PopCrush. “It all came together very quickly and being from Barbados and a huge fan of Rihanna’s, I was excited to put my take on the song.”
Berrett is signed to SRP/Universal, so we can expect to hear plenty more from him in the coming months and years. Check out his take on ‘Take Care.’

In a move that should not surprise or shock anyone who has been following this editorial scandal, the editor-in-chief of Dutch magazine Jackie has resigned from her post in wake of the controversy generated by an article that referred to Rihanna as a “n—-r b—-.”
Eva Hoeke instantly issued an apology to the ‘We Found Love’ singer, labeling the phrasing a “joke” and taking responsibility for letting such a comment slip through her editorial fingers. A joke? How is that funny? And letting it slip through her fingers? That’s not good enough! In this day and age, when information travels quickly via the web, print publications have to exercise their best judgment, as the medium shrinks.
According to WENN, Hoeke and the magazine’s publisher agreed that it was best for Hoeke to move on, as her credibility is shot due to this incident, which caused RiRi to issue a Twitter tirade about the matter, and rightfully so.
Hoeke revealed her resignation, saying:
We regret that I have taken a stand too quickly regarding an article in Jackie – which moreover had no racial motive at its basis. Through the course of events, me and the publisher have concluded that because my credibility is now affected, it is better for all parties if I quit my function as editor-in-chief effective immediately. After putting my heart and soul into Jackie for eight years, I realize that these errors – although not intended maliciously – are enough reason for leaving.”

The band sat down for an interview in which they gave some insight into their writing process for their next album Frontman and songwriter Ryan Tedder did most of the talking, explaining that his group wants to move beyond anything they’ve done so far. “This is a completely different process for this album,” he said. “We’ve really worked ourselves hard in the last five years and just gone for it. This next album, we feel like we’re kind of in a good position to cross into the next threshold.”
He added that he feels a certain obligation on the next album. “We’re in a time when there aren’t really many bands anymore. It’s all dance music and pop. So in a way we almost feel a sense of duty to push this thing forward with actual instruments and somehow find our place in the world on a bigger scale than what we’ve ever done.”
Tedder talked about ‘Christmas Without You,’ the band’s holiday song, which he called a throwback that “tastes like 1965 in your mouth.” And he revealed OneRepublic’s pre-show routine, saying, “For a live show, it involves watching whatever the latest ‘Sons of Anarchy’ episode is, followed by a fifth of Jim Beam and ice chips.”
It may seem like OneRepublic released a new album not long ago, since their optimistic tune ‘Good Life’ was a big hit this summer. But that track actually came from 2009′s ‘Waking Up.’ Their next record does not yet have a title or target release date.
With “Memory Lane,” the latest video from his acclaimed Elmatic project, Elzhi brings to life his deep history within the legendary Detroit hip-hop scene. The visuals for “Memory Lane” bring Elzhi’s audience back in time to the mid-nineties, and into Maurice Malone’s Hip Hop Shop.
The Shop was the heart of the Detroit hip hop scene where many collaborated, battled and shared music. It was there that a young Elzhi first grabbed the microphone to prove that he had the ability to become one of the greatest rappers alive. Music executive and artist manager Jae Barber, also a Detroit native, provided an authentic picture with rare visuals of the world Elzhi revisits in his nostalgic spin on Nas’ classic song, “Memory Lane.” The video includes various artists such as Eminem and Royce da 5’9. Amongst the many artists included are the late Baatin, Proof and J Dilla.

The items that belonged inside home where Michael Jackson spent his last moments on earth raised close to one million dollars this past weekend when they were auctioned off through Julien’s Auctions.
Pre-auction estimates from the company were said to be around $200,000 to $400,000, but fans of the late King of Pop paid a pretty penny to get their hands on some of the furniture that was in the home he rented in California up until his death in June of 2009.
Among the items sold were a kitchen chalkboard where one of Jackson’s children wrote “I love daddy” that pulled in $5,000 and a mirrored armoire that Jackson scrawled the message: “Train perfection March April May. Full Out” raked in an amazing $25,750.
While Jackson’s death bed was not on the auction block per his family’s request, the rug that laid beneath the bed where his lifeless body was found sold for $15,360.
“Michael Jackson has the greatest fans in the world. I can see why he lived for them,” says Darren Julien, president of Julien’s Auctions. “They came out every day this week to bring gifts. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever seen as it relates to a celebrity and their fans.”
In the past, Julien’s Auctions has helped other famous faces with auctions including Cher, Barbra Streisand, William Shatner and Slash. source:pop
If you’re not in the Christmas spirit, then this holiday performance from Kelly Rowland and Michael Buble should fill you up with yuletide fuzzies. The duo teamed up for a jazzy rendition of the Irving Berlin song ‘White Christmas’ (as sung by the late Bing Cosby).
The clip is from the crooner’s U.K. holiday special ‘Michael Buble: Home For Christmas.’ Buble was looking fierce in his navy suit and tie, while Rowland looked like a swan in her short white feathery dress. The lovely pair sung the holiday classic together with doo-wop group Naturally 7.
Buble and K.Row even cut a rug during a small break in the song as the big-band orchestra played on. We were amazed at how Rowland was able to twirl in those 7-inch pumps. You go girl!
We can’t get enough of these two beautiful-looking vocalists. Our Christmas wish is that Buble and Rowland team up for a catchy pop song soon.
Buble is certainly seeing a lot of green this Christmas. The singer’s holiday opus, ‘Christmas,’ is poised to become the second-biggest selling album of 2011. So far, he’s sold 1.52 million copies and is expected to push 2.4 million units out the store by year’s end.
‘The View’ got a bit brighter today. Florence + the Machine took the stage to perform their latest hit, ‘Shake It Out.’
With the crowd lights dim, the stage appeared to glow even before frontwoman Florence Welch began to sing. Her band and background singers donned black, making Welch the clear star of the show in her cream colored gown. Aside from the obvious wardrobe choice, the stage setup drove the point home further. Welch is, literally, front and center, while everyone else is in the shadows behind her. The visual was an effective one, even down to the backdrop. In the quiet introductory notes, the rear of the stage features a similarly dim snowflake backdrop. As the song reaches each crescendo, the background turns into bright colors and hearts.
While the performance was musically and vocally strong, Welch actually seemed subdued. The flamehaired siren’s signature ethereal dancing was missing — but make no mistake. With pipes like that, you’ll never lose sight (or sound) of her anywhere.

The Tupac Shakur sex tape that came to light in October and caused a bidding war has now been sold to an individual described as a “private collector,” TMZ reports.
The website says the five-minute tape, recorded in 1991 and containing the late rapper engaging in sex acts with a female groupie, was sold to a private individual because the seller hated large porn companies, calling them “parasites.”
The seller may have also been influenced by statements from the estate of Tupac. A representative for the estate had threatened to come after anyone who tried to release the footage. “We will sue anyone who tries to sell a Tupac tape,” the rep said. “Get [your] legal team ready because [we] will not allow someone to put it out,” the rep added.
It has not been revealed just how much money changed hands in this private transaction. The tape apparently contains an unreleased Tupac track playing in the background. Some entities were reportedly making bids in the range of $1 million for the music alone.
If you’ve ever dreamed of appearing in a Justin Bieber video, here’s your chance. The teen star has created an interactive promotional vid for his fragrance Someday that can include personal photos uploaded by users.
At experience.justinbiebersomeday.com, Bieber appears in a short clip in which he claims to be obsessed with a girl he passed on the street the other day. “The thing I remember most was your amazing scent,” he says. “Your fragrance was unforgettable. I couldn’t get through the crowd, so I managed to snag a few pics.”
Bieber then holds up his phone, revealing a series of images of the girl he saw. The images are blank in the promo video, but users can upload their own pictures and they will appear in the video, making it seem like Justin is talking about them. It’s a teenage girl’s dream come true!
Bieber’s Someday fragrance has been a hit, earning record sales figures when it hit Macy’s this summer, including $3 million from one location alone. The fragrance is currently for sale on the Macy’s website in perfume, body lotion and hair mist varieties.
In a heated battle for the Associated Press Entertainer of the Year honor, Lady Gaga edged out late Apple founder Steve Jobs by a mere three votes. That’s a narrow margin, for sure, but Gaga prevailed and ultimately notched another award in what is shaping up to be a banner career year for the singer.
The votes were not cast by little monsters, either, or things may have been way more decisive. Instead, 135 ballots were submitted by U.S news organizations that comprise the membership of the AP, according to Breitbart. The fact that news sources selected Gaga for this honor certainly makes it even more prestigious for her.
Editors and broadcasters cast ballots on which people had the most influence and impact on entertainment and culture in 2011. While Jobs, who passed away from cancer in October, has consistently impacted culture and how we process music and other sources of information in relation to technology, 2011 was certainly the year of the Gaga. She issued ‘Born This Way,’ crusaded for LGBT rights, appeared on every morning and late night talk show and magazine cover known to man, wore all sorts of grand and astonishing couture attire and ultimately refused to be ignored. She was the biggest head-turned in music.
Gaga follows in the footsteps of prior AP Entertainer of the Year winners like Betty White, Taylor Swift, Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert, so she’s surely is in good company there. Congrats to the Mother Monster on yet another impressive accolade in 2011!
Cory has been missing from the scene since past few months but returns today with the second installment of his ‘Drug Raps‘ track which came out three years ago.

When Timbaland and Aaliyah were in the studio together, they created some of the biggest hits in the late 90s including ‘Are You That Somebody,’ ‘One in a Million’ and ‘Try Again.’ However, Timbo’s professional relationship with the late songbird soon turned into infatuation. In a revealing E! True Hollywood Story special, the hitmaker admits that he was in love with Aaliyah.
“When I first met Aaliyah, I was in love with her. I said, ‘But I’m not … she just a baby [and] I’m old,’” he says. “I said to myself, ‘I’m just gonna be her brother.’ Oh man, I was fightin’, I was fightin’ a lot — a big war. But I loved Aaliyah.”
This was probably a wise move on Timbaland’s part. Who knows what could have happened if he would have pursued a love affair with the R&B songbird? Both of their careers could have gone into different directions.
Also in the special, Timbaland talks about his battle with the bulge and being 400-pounds overweight and having man boobs. “I’m looking in the mirror, my breast is bigger than a girl breast,” he says. “And I was saying, ‘That ain’t cool.’ So I got very depressed, like suicidal depressed.”
Luckily, he conquered his depression and became a competitive bodybuilder. He’s currently happily married to his wife, Monique. “It’s probably hard to be married to me,” he says. “It’s not easy. I’m a musical genius. I’m weird, I do crazy things, it’s not like the average norm. But I’m a loving guy.”
E!’s ‘True Hollywood Story: Timbaland’ will air on Dec. 20 at 9PM EST.

It’s official! Britney Spears is engaged to marry Jason Trawick. According to sources at People, Trawick got down on one knee and popped the question to Spears last night (Dec. 15) on the eve of his 40th birthday.
“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” a source tells Us Weekly (via Rolling Stone). “It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.”
Another source tells People, “He surprised her after she gave him his gifts and after they had cake last night.” The engagement ring is said to be Neil Lane sparkler.
Spears, 30, and Trawick will celebrate their engagement tonight in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood.”She’s very happy. It’s going to be a great weekend,” the sources says.
Trawick is Spears’ former manager, helping to run her career from 2008 up until early 2011. Britney’s fiancee, who co-stars in her ‘Criminal’ video, retired from his position as her manager earlier this year in order to dedicate more time to their relationship.
Spears has two sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline. We hope that her kids — Preston, 6, and Jayden, 5, — are excited for their mom and soon-to-be step-dad!
Congratulations to Britney Spears and Jason Trawick! We wish you both all of the happiness in the world.
Lady Gaga would be nothing without her little monsters. She’ll tell you that proudly. When she sat down for a chat with Huffington Post Black Voices (via AOL Music Blog), she revealed how she would invite her bullied fans that waited for her by her tour bus inside her vessel and give them cocoa, treats and a supportive ear.
Gaga’s social responsibility truly extends beyond her art. She revealed that when fans began sharing their stories with her, she realized that they were not that much different than she.
“I would stop outside the arena and take pictures,” she said about how she interacted with fans on the Monster Ball. “If it was cold out, I’d invite 30 fans on the bus and give them hot chocolate and Cheetos. They’d tell me, ‘My dad kicked me out since I am gay.’ I’ve met fans that were beat up outside school or had to move high schools because they were teased for being fat. They shared their stories and I realized how like them I was.”
She also said that she will never, ever abandon her fans. She declared, “It’s not like ‘Thanks for buying my record, f— you.’ I will live and die and breathe my work and my art to protect your dreams because you protect mine.”
Gaga, draped in layers of gold chains and extreme, square-shaped black sunglasses with a low cut black halter dress, also believes that she has a deep connection with fans and said that there is room at the inn for everyone! “There is nothing exclusive about what I do, about the music, about the approach, about who is invited to the party,” Gaga said. “Everyone is invited to our party. There is no group or lifestyle that I don’t sing about.”
Britney Spears‘ boyfriend, Jason Trawick, got a sweet surprise on his birthday. The pop star gifted her beau with a hot set of wheels, which fans may recognize from the singer’s ‘Criminal’ video.
To celebrate her man’s 40th birthday, Spears scored a brand-new Confederate motorcycle, just like the one Trawick rocked on camera for her ‘Femme Fatale’ clip. “Hbday Jason!,” the singer entitled a new Facebook photo album with pics of the present. She added in the caption of the gift, “He looked so cool in the video, that I had to get him a new motorcycle. Check out this new Confederate Bike I got him!”
According to the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old star dropped a cool $45,000 on the bike, which is reportedly a third generation X132 Hellcat from Confederate Motorcycles. The model is considered “the Bentley of motorcycles.” Of course, the singer also splurged on a leather jacket to complete the package. Nothing’s too good for Brit’s man!
Meanwhile, it looks like Trawick has returned the favor. Spears tweeted on Friday morning: “OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo” Could it be an engagement ring? We’ll just have to wait and see.

During his conversation with VIBE, Young Jeezy touches on the issue of album leaks and says that “TM103″ will be worth the wait.
“It’s just a crazy time in music because I remember when there was a time when we couldn’t wait just to go in the store and buy [an album] so I don’t understand, what’s the rush?,” Jeezy tells VIBE. “I mean you can’t rush greatness if something comes out and somebody puts hard work into it and you’re a fan of it you should want to purchase it and support him. It’s not about the money to me, it’s about the act you know — pulling up to the mall, getting out your car and actually going to buy something that you dig, that you feel is worth it.”
Ali, Quez and Strap have already got the cameras rolling for their next video. In case you don’t know, it’s for their latest remix with Jeezy and 2 Chainz. Day 1 with Jizzle is a wrap. Stay tuned. UPDATE: Day 2 is a wrap. Now with 2 Chainz.

For the entire season, judge Nicole Scherzinger sat on the judge’s panel and served as a mentor to the Over 30s field on ‘X Factor.’ She dispensed advice, criticism and shed lots of tears as the most emotional judge AKA this reality talent show’s version of Jennifer Lopez.
On tonight’s elimination episode (Dec. 15), the Scherz stepped out from behind the judge’s table and onto the stage to show the final four how it’s done. The former Pussycat Doll (and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 10 winner) performed ‘Pretty’ from her oft-delayed album ‘Killer Love,’ which is out in Europe but keeps getting bumped in the U.S. It was the worldwide live debut of the song.
We’ve gotta hand it to Nic, since she performed mid show, with her final remaining Over 30s team member Josh Krajcik unaware of his fate for the finals. She had to be a nervous wreck, concerned about whether or not Krajcik was moving on.
As usual, Nic looked sexalicious, ravishing and a lil tough in all black, with liquid leggings and leather fingerless gloves, with her hair slicked back into a tight, high ponytail. Her performance was robust and husky. It was as though she was channeling some of Krajcik’s passion into her own performance. It wasn’t a pretty performance — pun intended — but it certainly rocked.
The most hilarious moment of the entire season took place when Simon Cowell moved over into Scherzinger’s vacant chair and critiqued her performance, using flowery language and metaphors to describe it, much the way the Scherz would speak about the contestants. Cowell said something about rainbows and waterfalls and it was utterly brilliant.
