The stars were out last night at the Palladium in Hollywood at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards (set to air Thursday, Aug. 18), and Tungwa has the photos from the red carpet and the stage. Scroll through all the highlights in our gallery above.
The awards show featured Demi Lovato‘s first live performance of her comeback single, ‘Skyscraper.’ Lovato built up the drama with a fog machine and an orchestra playing behind her. Rapper B.o.B joined OneRepublic for a song that had the confetti flying, while ’90s pop trio Wilson Phillips turned back the clock with a performance of their own.
Host Jane Lynch presided over the ceremony. The Beliebers will be thrilled to know that Justin Bieber captured the Do Something Music Artist award. Backstage, Bieber chilled with comedian Will Ferrell, while Lovato spent time with Kim Kardashian, and Adam Lambert gave hugs to Tyra Banks and his co-presenter, Rose McGowan. Others who appeared on the broadcast included Nick Cannon,Victoria Justice, and JoJo.
