According to a recent report from Deadline.com, Snoop has teamed up with veteran producer Don Reo to star in a new multi-camera family sitcom. Snoop is reportedly slated to play the leading role of the father in the as-of-yet untitled series. Although the series has yet to find a network home, it is currently being developed by Warner Bros TV. Reo and Snoop had previously worked together on the Michael Strahan/Daryl "Chill" Mitchell series "Brothers," on which Snoop was featured as a guest star. Snoop is no stranger to the small screen. The Doggfather has previously starred in his own E! reality series "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood."

UPDATE: According to Deadline, NBC has picked up Snoop Dogg's family comedy sitcom with a script commitment. Don Reo will pen and executive produce the project, while Snoop will also produce alongside Ted Chung and serve as the father on the show. The series is currently without a premiere date.
