Last week Garrelle Smith was murdered in Louisiana, after close to a decade of being a suspect in a high-profile murder.
Last Saturday (August 13), 29 year-old Garrelle Smith was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. According to AllHipHop.com, Smith was a leading suspect in the 2003 murder of No Limit Records emcee Soulja Slim. Although never convicted, Smith was a suspect in four other people in the last decade.In 2008, the New Orleans Parish District Attorney's claimed that Smith remained free due to the disappearance of several witnesses in the high-profile murder, which took place outside of Slim's grandmother's home in the city.
